Thrilled that I was asked by my son, Paolo a highschool senior, to photograph him for his yearbook last November. Reality sucks though that next school year (September 2014) he will be going to university and I am just getting a grip on the fact that he will not be living with us anymore. Okay stop, it’s not about me, or us. I can ponder on that another time.
Back to happy thoughts. Paolo was a breeze to work with and being a photogenic tall young lad, was such an easy subject to photograph. It was a location shoot (meaning just outside the comforts of our home) for the best afternoon light, and he was so game to try several poses —standing , sitting, look away , look into the lens, etc, etc— anything I asked. After all, It was sort of a practice to me to do my thing too After a total of about 40 shots and 5 processed images, Paolo chose this…… Captured with EOS5DM2 90mm macro Tamron Lens
……Way to go, son! Cannot wait to actually see this published in the yearbook:-)
